Sangita Santosham is a distinguished Counseling Psychologist and Expressive Arts Therapist based in Bangalore, India, with a rich background in mental health care. Previously, she lent her expertise to Apollo Hospitals and Santosham Chest Hospital in Chennai, making significant contributions to patient care.

Sangita is a proud member of the American Psychological Association. Her academic journey includes a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Studies from Oklahoma City University, USA, and a Master of Philosophy in Psychology from Women’s Christian College, India. Her career is adorned with numerous achievements, including international publications that underscore her expertise. She specializes in Cognitive Therapies, Metacognitive Training, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapies such as EFT and EMDR. Recently, her blog was published by the prestigious Wolfson Summer School in Youth Mental Health Research at Cardiff University, UK.

Passionate about the fusion of psychology and the arts, Sangita extensively collaborates with performing artists such as dancers, actors, and musicians. With a rich artistic background in visual and stage arts nurtured from a young age, she infuses her therapeutic practice with creativity. Sangita's eclectic approach to therapy uniquely blends her artistic insights with psychological expertise, offering a deeply enriching and holistic experience for her clients.

The website Cupofchange.in was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic to support healthcare professionals grappling with stress. In the aftermath of the pandemic, the website has grown, extending its services to a diverse range of clients seeking mental health support.

She is currently in the process of completing her registration as a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) with the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA).

You can schedule an appointment through our website, email, or WhatsApp. Online sessions are conducted via video calls, while offline sessions take place at a private and safe space that will be shared with you once your appointment is confirmed.
